Ginkgo Chairs

Shaped like the fan-shaped leaf of the sacred ginkgo tree, the Ginkgo Chair turns a flat form into something sculptural, using barely any material to do it. A moulded shell seat sits on a slender three-legged steel frame, holding its shape with less bulk than you'd expect. Choose oak or walnut, then a cushion cover that lifts off in seconds when it needs a clean, in four textures from soft boucle to shaggy pile. It won't fill a room on its own, but that's rather the point: pull it up to a desk, add it to the table, or let it stand alone as a reading chair.
