The showroom's opening exhibition is part of Tom Dixon's HYPERMOBILE theme, celebrating imagination, reinvention, and design in the modern, fast-paced world. The showroom will be open to the public starting Saturday, 16th September and will offer visitors a glimpse into Cozmo's mission to combat the "fast furniture" trend by championing accessible, enduring, and customisable design.
Situated within a beautifully restored Victorian trade building, the immersive display, adorned with striking large-scale plant arrangements by the Botanical Boys, invites visitors to explore Cozmo's design philosophy, which emphasizes creating pieces that evolve and endure, aligning perfectly with the ever-changing needs and preferences of today's discerning customers.
At the core of this showcase, you'll find the acclaimed Cozmo Sofa, a product by award-winning UK design studio Raw Edges, renowned for their collaborations with brands such as Louis Vuitton and Vitra. The Cozmo Sofa has been designed for effortless personalisation and adaptability through a quick and straightforward system of interchangeable sofa jackets. Accompanying it are two exciting newcomers from Raw Edges: the Cozmo Cosy Armchair and the Cozmo Cutout Tables.
The Cozmo Cosy Armchair, an exciting addition to the collection, shares the same design language as the original Cozmo Sofa and offers an even more compact footprint to fit with urban living. It is available in a range of high-quality textiles and features contrasting cotton webbing, wooden legs, and plush feather-softness for ultimate comfort.
The Cozmo Cutout Tables, a set of three steel nesting tables, inspired by the iconic papercut art of Matisse, offer functionality and aesthetics in equal measure. This sculptural set of nesting tables effortlessly adapts to various configurations, transitioning from a space-saving side table when nested to a centerpiece coffee table.
